Made with
Worm Salt.
Meet your finishing touch ↗Make it.
- Rub half the rim of a wine glass with an orange wedge and dip into Worm Salt.
- Fill the glass with ice.
- Add mezcal and aperitivo.
- Top with sparkling wine and sparkling water, then stir once.
The finishing touch.
Garnish with an orange slice. Start from the salted half of the rim, then try a sip from the other side.
Make it yours.
Use grapefruit soda instead of sparkling water for a fruitier spritz. Use less aperitivo if you prefer a drier drink.
Adapted from the existing Don Catrín recipe.
A little golden hour.
The classic spritz is built for golden hour. This Oaxacan version keeps the bitter-orange brightness and adds a smoky base with mezcal. Keep the rim light so there is room for the drink.
