Elote is a street ritual: smoky corn, creamy richness, and bright citrus.
Worm salt makes it deeper — earthy, savory, and unmistakably Oaxacan.
Ingredients
- 4 ears of corn
- 2 tbsp crema or mayo
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- Worm salt, to finish
- Chopped cilantro (optional)
Method
- Grill corn until lightly charred.
- Brush with crema or mayo and squeeze lime.
- Finish with worm salt and cilantro.
Ritual & Serving
Serve hot and eat with your hands — that’s how it’s meant to be.
