Make it.

  1. Rim a rocks glass with worm salt and fill with ice.
  2. Shake mezcal, cranberry, lime, and clove syrup with ice.
  3. Strain over ice into the prepared glass.

To Serve

Garnish with a lime wheel or cranberry skewer.

Ritual

Take a slow sip — the clove appears last, warmed by the mezcal.

Adapted from the existing Don Catrín recipe.

Story

Cranberry brings brightness, clove brings warmth, mezcal brings smoke.

Worm salt keeps the sweetness in check and adds a savory edge.

This is a festive drink with depth — bright but grounded.

Notes & Variations

  • Add a splash of soda water for a lighter version.
